Don’t remove those glasses
The right pair will add a new dimension to your face. Rather than looking at the glasses as a challenge, use them to add to the visage.
Glasses now come in various models and geeks do have a chic quotient today, so make the most of it! There are natural features of the face that can be highlighted. However, ensure that the make up and the glasses complement each other and do not clash. This will be the key to a beautiful look. The glasses tend to put the focus on eyebrows first rather than the eyes. Hence, a trimmed pair of brows is recommended. Let the glasses follow the shape of the brows to blend with the face- or shape the brows according to the thickness of the glasses.
Eye make up
The challenge can be surmounted in different ways.
Dark eye shadow looks good on farsighted girls: shades of brown, grey or even green are useful.
If you are nearsighted then choose beige, lavender, light grey or rose.
If you have thick glasses then wear thicker eyeliner. It offers uniformity and balance in the look.
Feel like adding mascara? Do so; it will add more drama to the eyes covered with the lens. Ensure that the curls of the lashes do not touch the glasses as it may irritate you. You may have thicker mascara at the roots not on the tips of the lashes.

Foundation
Just like any other girl, apply the right foundation according to the skin type and color. Often the glasses may give a shadow effect on the nose and cheeks. With the right make up, it can be minimized. A good blush can be useful. Under eyes can be dabbed with the right foundation shade.
Lipsticks
If the eye makeup is subtle then you can swipe a brighter shade of lipstick. If the glass frames are thick, then use bold colors on the lips. It will keep you looking stylish.
More tips
If the glasses leave a red mark on the nose or temples, use a moisturizer to cover them. Use BB or CC creams to camouflage the areas.
Ensure that the frames do not collect make up under them. It could be unhealthy. They need to be cleaned each time.
Using very thin layers of make up is better. It looks natural too rather than having a cakey face.
The eyes should not look sunken – if you are not very sure, stick to neutral shades of eye lines and eye shadows.
Ideally, the color of the glass frames will decide the eye make up. If the glasses are rimless then a double winged liner works well.
